The FIUTS Take the World to Work Program offers international students in our community an opportunity to share a day on the job with a local professional. In this unique program, students from around the world have a chance to see a local workplace, meet professionals in their field of interest, and learn about corporate life and institutional culture in the U.S.
This year’s Take the World to Work Program will take place from February 16th through February 22nd. Host organizations represent a wide variety of industries, ranging from the financial sector, healthcare, and education to aerospace engineering and biotech. Visits range from informational interviews to tours of offices and presentations on the industry.
Please contact Alison Kilkenny, Community Relations Coordinator, for more information on how to get involved in the 2010 Take the World to Work Program.

FIUTS would like to invite interested World to Work hosts to a program kick-off and networking reception, to take place on January 14th at the UW Tower. Learn more about hosting an international student while meeting current international students and local professionals interested in supporting cross-cultural connections. Contact Alison Kilkenny, Community Relations Coordinator, if you are interested in attending.
